Welcome to HouseholdAnchor. By using our app, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain language because we believe clarity builds trust.

What HouseholdAnchor Is

HouseholdAnchor is an educational planning awareness platform. It helps you organize household documents, map family responsibilities, and preserve your family's story.

HouseholdAnchor provides educational planning awareness only. It is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or tax advice. The Continuity Handoff feature is not a legal instrument. All content labeled with confidence levels is advisory in nature.

Your Account

Your Data

You own your data. We encrypt it, store it, and sync it on your behalf. We never claim ownership of your documents, contacts, letters, or any content you create.

You can export your data or delete your account at any time. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers.

HouseholdAnchor is designed for personal household planning. You agree not to:

Subscriptions and Payments

HouseholdAnchor offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time — your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial months, but we will always work with you if something doesn't feel right. Reach out to us.

Limitation of Liability

HouseholdAnchor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the app reliable and your data secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HouseholdAnchor and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

In particular: HouseholdAnchor is not responsible for decisions made based on planning information stored in the app. Always consult qualified professionals for legal, financial, and medical matters.

Termination

You can stop using HouseholdAnchor at any time by deleting your account from Settings. We may also terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where possible.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
